wie wäre es, den beginn des neuen jahres im inneren eines imaginären uhrwerks zu feiern – einer radiophonen zeitbeugungsuhr, um genau zu sein? dazu´lädt die heutige radiator-sendung ein…

und zwar mit einer ganz besonderen preziose aus dem radia-archiv: im oktober 2008 haben sarah washington und knut aufermann von mobile radio internationale radiokünstlerInnen dazu eingeladen, eine ganze lange nacht live aus dem atomium in brüssel zu senden. aus dem live-stream, der von mehreren partner-stationen aus dem radia-netzwerk auch direkt übertragen wurde, gibt es nun als special edition zum jahreswechsel eine runde stunde zu hören.

what about celebrating the first breath of the new year from within an imaginary clockwork – more precisely: from the innerest of a radiophonic time bending clock? this is exactly what today's radiator show will offer…

… with a really precious jewel from the radia archives: in ictober 2008, sarah washington and knut aufermann from mobile radio invited international radio artists to broadcast live from the atomium in brussels. from the transmission – broadcasted in real time by many of our partner stations – we'll listen to a special one hour edit of timeless radio art.
