Frühlingsanfang – und mithin höchste Zeit, die Saison im RadioGarten einzuläuten. Im Märzen geht nicht nur der Bauer ins Feld, sondern auch das RadioRhizomE. Die Rösslein lässt es allerdings im Stall. Stattdessen werden zusammen mit den Antennen die Forschungssonden ausgefahren…

… was in diesem Fall direkt beim Wort zu nehmen ist. Vorgestellt werden nämlich Projekte, die mit Field Recordings je auf ihre Weise Feldforschung betreiben: Das portugiesische Netzlabel Green Field Recordings, das unter anderem auch die Eingänge zum alljährlichen World Listening Day verlegt. Sowie das Field Recordings Project von loopool aka Jean-Paul Garnier.

Spring is here – and in our RadioGarden it's time to open the new season. March is not only for farmers the month to work in the fields, but also for the RadioRhizomE. In contrast to the former, however, the horses may stay well in the stable. Instead, we will prick up our antennas and drive our testing probe into the ground…

… which, in this case, is to be taken literally. For we will be into projects doing field studies with field recordings: The Portuguese netlabel Green Field Recordings, run by Luis Antero, a. o. featuring the contributions to the yearly World Listening Day. And the Loopool Field Recording Project, run and published by loopool aka Jean-Pault Garnier.
