radia #470: the exquisite corpse + radia #414: oro

[pls. scroll down for english version]

[english]

if one and one and again another one come together, one by one, piece by piece, a new whole built from disparate element: collage as a method. and as an aesthetic principle.

first with a show by radio campus, the surrealist cadavre exquis transformed into radio art:

"A cadavre exquis or exquisite corpse inspired by the Surrealist game invented in Paris in 1925. It is similar to the game Consequences in which players write in turn on a sheet of paper, fold it to conceal part of the writing, and then pass it to the next player for a further contribution. This version takes the exquisite body not only as technique but also the inspiration for the piece. Regular Campus Paris contributors have teamed together to produce a series of short audio sequences and will only hear the whole programme at the end when the segments are unfolded and revealed to the listener." [R.C.P.]

Face & Brain by Mélanie Péclat – Chest & Arms by Joyce Conroy-Aktouche & François Bordonneau – Stomach : Charles-Henri Despeignes – Legs & Feet by Marine Beccarelli & Lise Come – Skin & Bones by Charlène Nouyoux.
Special thanks to Dinah Bird, indispensable oxygen.

afterwards, swedish artist cecilia hultman is putting one by one together in her very own way. and in shwedish language – rendering her piece for all those unable to understand swedish into an abstract sound collage:

" Cecilia Hultman is a Swedish visual artist, concentrated on definitions and associative representation, often with geography and geology related reflections inserted.
Hultman claims that scientific descriptions often works as poetry and choose to see upon associations as a productive way of finding new meanings about our existence. Most of her work is based on drawing and she likes to think about her art practice as a method of both getting closer and getting distanced to reality. Concentration, presence, precision
and time is important components within Hultman’s work." [R.N.]
