Kein Ort, nirgendwo? Tatsächlich werden Utopien von denen, die sie beschreiben, durchaus verortet. Nicht anders als Dystopien, deren Imagination und Beschreibung ebenfalls Raum greifen will. Dem Namen nach ist es ihnen ohnehin nicht versagt. Vielmehr sind es die Räume und Orte selbst, die gleichsam der Hoffnung den Platzverweis erteilen.

Aber gerade dies kann es zweifelsohne um so reizvoller erscheinen lassen, mehr über diese Räume und Orte zu erfahren. Suchen wir also nach Wegen, die es uns erlauben, die Lanschaften der Dystopie zu erkunden…

No place, nowhere? Yet utopias are usually located by those writing them. Like dystopias. Imagination and depiction will always consume space. Not to mention the term dystopia by itself does not put a ban on spaces and places anyway – but our hope is banned from the latter.

Yet this is exactly what makes us curious to learn more about these spaces and places. Thus, let us find ways to explore the landscapes of dystopia…
