[[o]] GUNSTprojekt: ad sanctos, apud ecclesiam
"ad sanctos, apud ecclesiam. eine predigt zur kunst" ("ad sanctos, apud eccesiam. a sermon on art") was released in 2000 as a lecture/performance and later transformed into a hypertext format.
the subject of the sermon are the parallels between the perception (and production) of "the saint" and the perception (and production) of "the artist" in society.

"cyborg config.sys" was conceived as an infobase and course platform related to a seminar/course dealing with the subject "Konfigurationen der Cyborg", and held at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach in winter 2000/2001.
[[o]] GUNSTprojekt: encyclopedia of stolen ideas
Who owns ideas? Can ideas be owned – just like material things? Obviously, the notion of "ownership" is quite problematic in this context.
The "encyclopedia of stolen ideas" is an online platform to reflect upon these issues.
[[o]] GUNSTprojekt: panem@circenses
"panem@circenses" (or in short: p@c) deals with the operating system(s) of art in the society. it is conceived as an online infobase and learning platform. the basic structure delivers a set of terms stemming from the roman circus (as a site created for the amusement of the plebs), each of which is set in parallel to one part of the system of contemporary art.
i.e., the "arena" is connected to the public aspects of the "[art] scene", the "spectacula" are set in parallel to "exhibitions and events", the "publicum" is of course the "public" and so on.

the museum of missing links was founded in spring 2000 for the purpose of collecting and researching on data of sites neticens once bookmarked as their favorites, and to introduce surfers to a once estimated part of the world wide web that otherwise will be lost in time and space.
[[o]] GUNSTprojekt: VIATICO (viatico arte per i bambini)
VIATICO (viatico arte per i bambini / viatico arte for children) was my contribution to the third part of the exhibition project "VIATICO DI ARTE E CRITICA", that opened wednesday, the 1st of march 2000 at the CHANGE studio d'arte contemporanea / associazione culturale project room at Rome, Italy.

Die Gräfin Zahl zählt Zahlen. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Besonders interessiert sie sich für die Zahlenverhältnisse im Kunst- und Wissenschaftsbetrieb.
The Countess counts. In doing so, she es especially interested in counting and drowning the numbers in the operating systems of art and science.

mit [homepage] folgte miss.gunst einer einladung von haegue yang, am projekt "trivialität; dilettantismus als künstlerische kompetenz" teilzunehmen – einer ausstellungen in den räumen des meso-studios, zu der die künstlerin freundInnen und kollegInnen aus unterschiedlichen arbeitsfeldern im bereich kunst um beiträge zum thema "selbstdarstellung" gebeten hatte.
[[o]] GUNSTprojekt: ART IS BEAUTIFUL!
ART IS BEAUTIFUL! was a leaflet released in occasion of the Old Boys Networking Workshop, part of the programme "suck my code. Performing cyberfeminism" curated in course of the 8th International Performance Conference "networking / meeting", Frankfurt am Main, 13.05.- 16.05.1999. The conference took place in the former "Kasino" of the I.G. Farben-Haus ("Poelzig-Bau"), at that time no longer habited by the U.S. Forces and undergoing renovation before the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University started to move in.
Rather than to Karl Valentin's famous sentence, the title may be dedicated to Marina Abramovic' performance "Art must be beautiful… Artists must be beautiful".
While formatted like a questionnaire, the leaflet obviously asked not for being returned. So it maybe kept and/or spread otherwise.

"haben wollen" ist ein Konzept, das für den Künstler Lukas Einsele entwickelt wurde. Es basiert auf einem Tauschgeschäft: Eine Fotografie wird, motiviert vom Begehren, sie zu besitzen, beschrieben. Der Text geht im Anschluss an den Künstler, der dem Autor/der Autorin des Textes dafür einen Abzug der Fotografie aushändigt.
