RadioGarten : Algen (Wdh.) | RadioGarden : Algae (again)
Well: Our plan had been to celebrate the GUNSTsummer in July with the first live show broadcasted from radio x' brand new studios at Kurfürstenstrasse. However, as the opening has been postponed for some days, there's now another chance to join the RadioRhizomeE on its excursion into the wonderful world of algae…

RadioGarten : Algen | RadioGarden : Algae
Into the Green: this does not necessarily mean to take a walk outside or to spent time in the garden. For not all living organisms capable of photosynthesis belong to the reign of plants. Even if they were neatly kept in that place for a longer period of the history of science – and still can be traced in the standard primers of botany: Algae.

RadioGarten : Aussterbende Arten | RadioGarden : Moribundi
In springtime, in springtime… well: not only the birds do sing, but also rich green is growing everywhere. Bewteen all the sprouts and blossoms: who is aware of the ones that are missing? Indeed it seems the extinct and the rare become even more invisible now. Not to mention that, in contrast to the notorious Dodo, their remainders are usually not among the more prominent dust collectors in our museums of natural history. Good reasons to celebrate their memory in our GUNSTradioGARDEN…

It's all (about) work? And if so, how does this work in a society under digital conditions that is not only building and built upon globally networked production and consumption, but that has also established new technologies of the self?

the whole is more than just the sum of its parts. this is even more true when the parts are of heterogenous origin(s) and character. or are we fooled by abstraction – and it's rather about the high art of reduction by erosion and decay?

RadioGarten : Gießen! | RadioGarden : Gießen!
Let us follow the Motto "Gießen ist des Gärtners erste Pflicht!" – while the English translation reminds us of the gardener's duty to water beds and meadows, the German original provides us with a second meaning: pointing us to the city of Gießen, this year's host of the Landesgartenschau, the country garden fair…

Humm, humm, the Bees? No, not really – this time we won't spend the afternoon in our lovely RadioGarden. Rather, it's just the association with the hymenopterous insects and their hum that leads us to our issues for today: Unmanned flight objects, raising into the air with a different mission…

RadioGarten : Schnecken (Wdh.) | RadioGarden : Snails (Rpt.)
Indeed there are loads of things to know and to wonder about the life and deeds of gastropoda. But unfortunately not all of us can always follow the path of the snails that are gently gliding through our gardens – and be it simply due to a lack of time…
