Exhibition
Institute for European Ethnology and Cultural Studies, Philipps-University Marburg, January 15 – March 15, 1995
Museum for Sepulchral Culture (Museum für Sepulkralkultur), Kassel (1996), Volkskunde- und Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof, Konz (1998)

An exhibition of AG Death (AG Tod, interdisciplinary study group/collaborative at the Institute for European Ethnology and Cultural Studies/Institut für Europäische Ethnologie und Kulturforschung)* at the Institute for European Ethnology and Cultural Studies of Philipps University Marburg, January 15 – March 15, 1995
* Dietmar Cremers, Maren Hackmann, Kathrin Kopp (Kathrin Bonacker), Verena Kuni, Werner Schumacher, Simone Ziegler and Rainer Zuch

Accompanied by a publication with essays on the core topics of the exhibition: "Tod und Trauer. Vom Umgang mit dem Ende des Lebensfadens" (Ed. AG Tod, Philipps-Universität Marburg, Marburg 1995).

The exibition traveled afterwards to the Museum of Sepulchral Culture, Kassel (Museum für Sepulkralkultur, Kasssel) and was later shown in a condensed format by the Volkskunde- und Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof, Konz.
On this occasion re-edition of the publication (Ed. Volkskunde- und Freilichtmuseum Roscheider Hof, Konz 1998) has been published.

The original exhibition contained plates as well as numerous objects (ranging from an undertaker's working case to LP-covers with related motifs) from different lenders and collections.
While the objects were returned, selected plates have been archived and are now maintained by the Verein für Hospiz- und Lebensbegleitung e.V. Tauberbischofsheim (Hospiz- und Palliativ-Verband Baden-Württemberg e.V.), where they are still available for exhibitions. Great many thanks!
