RadioGarden

A radio project on garden cultures and garden arts – in Frankfurt, Rhine-Main and beyond

City gardens and urban gardening are high in trend. As recent initiatives for community gardens and other activities (like i.e. the so called "guerilla gardening") can show, this new (or renewed) interest in gardening is not only motivated by individual desires, but strongly informed by ecological and social engagement as well.

The quest is for a "Green City" and for urban green accessible to the public – and, in case, also open for public participatory engagement. In this context – together with the consciousness about the fundamental assets and their development over times, garden knowledge and gardening experience to be shared – creative approaches play a decisive role, connecting old and new forms of gardening, (garden) culture(s) and art.

What's growing in the RadioGarden? Let's listen into the greens…

RadioGarden is a format of GUNSTradio, produced and broadcasted at radio x Frankfurt am Main.
