scheint so, als sei die zwölf eine besondere zahl. und nicht nur, weil wir mit zwölf stunden und zwölf monden leben. radiokunst duodezimal…

was es damit auf sich hat? erlauschen wir zunächst mit einem experimentalelektronischen beitrag von sophie wilder.

im anschluss gesellen wir uns noch einmal zu zwei merkwürdigen gestalten. die an einem dock sitzen und darauf warten, dass sich nicht nur der wasserpegel erhebt. sondern mit ihm auch geisterhafte erscheinungen…

seems like twelve is a very special number. not only because we live with twelve hours a day, twelve hours by night and twelve months a year. an hour of and with duodecimal radio art…

first with sophie wilder – who won't tell us before why she choose the number twelve:

Sophie Wilder has been making strange noises for over thirty years, initially at home but then as part of the legendary lost 80s band Well Crucial. Nowadays she intersperses infrequent improvisation as part of the A Band with weekly broadcasts of bizarre sounds on Soundart Radio. Her home equipment consists of a couple of battered synth modules, a few musical toys and primitive recording equipment.

afterwards, we 'll join for another time two people sitting at the docks and waiting not only for the water, but also for spirits to rise:

"Number 12 is the second number of level 4 of spirit manifestation. The first number of this level is number 11 for which we said that its energy is similar to going in the open space for the first time without a space suit. So what we have here are two gentleman (2 minus 12 = negative, but two times negative is positive) … sitting at the dock of the bay. Watching the tide. Etc. Bad bad actors. And as predicted, their space suits were left home. Nothing but bare muscles." [TST]
