A Pipa Musical ist selbst ein Experiment: Ein freies (Kunst-)Radio-Kollektiv aus Brasilien, das Musik und Improvisation als Instrumente versteht, um eben diese Energie zu mobilisieren. Auf Einladung von Mobile Radio aka Sarah Washington und Knut Aufermann haben Mitglieder von A Pipa Musical eine Reihe von Beiträgen produziert, die Klänge und Gesänge, Geräusche und Musik in Batterien der Lebenskraft transformieren.

Let's open a shindy – or rather literally: a barrel. A barrel brim-full with energy and zest for life. A barrel full of sonic experiments and music just waiting for us to flow…

A Pipa Musical is an experiment in itself: A free (art) radio collective from Brazil for which music and improvisation are instruments to mobilize energies. By invitation of Mobile Radio aka Sarah Washington and Knut Aufermann members of A Pipa Musical have produced a series of sonic contributions transforming sounds and songs, noises and music into batteries of vitality.

Mobile Radio BSP has been a special art radio format and live programme curated by Sarah Washington and Knut Aufermann (aka Mobile Radio) in 2012 for the Sao Paulo Biennal.
