diese frage haben sich anna keheler und claire long auf einer gemeinsamen reise von england nach finnland und wieder zurück immer wieder gestellt.
und beantworten sie mit einem fahrtenbuch, in dem sich erinnerungen und klänge mischen.
im zweiten teil der sendung finden wir uns an einem gestade wieder, von dem aus es auf tauchfahrt ins ungewisse geht.

how far from home are we?
led by this question anna keheler and claire long went on a journey from england to finland and back again. their answers are presented in a logbook filled with sounds and words.

Based on a journey from the UK to Helsinki and back by land and sea, the 'illustrated radio journey' sits somewhere between sound art and travel documentary. On-site recordings, ambient sounds, creative reflection and narration are woven together to give the listener glimpses of the experiences of the journey. Collaborative drawings and tally-sticks also created on the journey provide a visual counterpart to the radio piece.
The illustrated radio journey lives on the web at journey.uber.com and through a series of coordinated installations and radio broadcasts. [A.K./C.L.]
