zunächst fahren wir zum field fest nach brüssel, um an dessen ränder und durch das hintergrundrauschen hindurch die dort zu gehör gebrachten künstlerischen field recordings zu erkunden.
im anschluss fischen die beiden britischen künstler jem finer und ansuman biswas radiowellen vom jupiter aus dem himmel.

first we'll visit the field fest in brussels with XLAIR's radia adaption of the festival, trying to

"(re)create an imaginary map of 'Field Fest's background radiation noise': a radio score of the most contagious psychoacoustic traces still echoing in the collective memory of the participants. A poetic patchwork of static leftovers etching the event's most persistent influences on the auditory immune systems of the constitutive artists. The aim of the program is to evoke the festivals' sonospheric depths through the suggestive power of intimate (re)collection and sonic autohypnosis." [DVD]

afterwards british artists jem finer und ansuman biswas are fishing the sky for radiowaves from jupiter:

“In early October 2007, artists Jem Finer and Ansuman Biswas visited Dartington College of Arts as part of the Arts and Ecology MA. In collabortation with Soundart Radio a home made radio telescope was constructed with a receiving device tuned to 20.1 mhz, allowing us to pick up radiation from storms on Jupiter. These recordings were all made between 6 and 9 pm on 4th October 2007 as we stood out under the stars waiting and listening…"
