kaum eine woche nach winterbeginn summt die natur. das liegt nicht nur an der milden witterung. vielmehr hat uns harmut geerken ein geschenk gemacht, aus dem bayerische hummeln in den klangraum schwärmen.
im anschluss macht eine schwalbe aus portugal den frühling.

wintertime has begun just a week ago – yet nature is humming. not only due to the mild climate. hartmut geerken has made a present for us, with bavarian bumblebees swarming out into the air.

"Musician and sound artists Hartmut Geerken lives in the middle of Bavaria in Wartaweill and works with the sounds of surrounding nature. His ways to communicate with the animals are the present to celebrate the 400th Radia show this week. We follow Geerken into a nest of bumblebees and listen to the queen and all the smart insects while having breakfast, lunch and dinner." [R.W.]

right afterwards a portuguese swallow starts into spring…

"While contemplating the mysterious life of the landscape, plants, birds,insects,we dive into the magnetic space where the swallows and echoes of things and their spirits live.
