ZEIT-BILDERVortrag | Lecture Der Vortrag findet im Rahmen des Begleitprogramms zur Ausstellung "David Claerbout" statt und nimmt die Zeit-Bilder Claerbouts zum Ausgangspunkt und Anlass, den Relationen von Zeit und Bild im kunst- und medienhistorischen Kontext zu nachzuspüren, um zugleich nach ihren Potentialen für eine weiterführende Reflexion gegenwärtiger Konditionen und Konstellationen für die Wahrnehmung, Erfahrung und Repräsentation von Zeit zu fragen. The lecture takes place in the framework of the exhibition "David Claerbout" (Kunsthalle Mainz, April – June, 2013). Claerbouts images and imaginations of time are the starting point for tracing back the relations of time and image in the context of art and media history. At the same time, the lecture will ask about their potential for further reflections on the contemporary conditions an constellations for the perception, experience an representation of time.
