interfiction XXI / 2014 – IN:FORMATION

Interdisciplinary Conference & Workshop-Summit
in the framework of 31st Kasseler Dokumentarfilm- und Videofestival
Kassel, November 14-16, 2014 – KulturBahnhof, Offener Kanal

This year’s interfiction summit for art, media and network cultures invites with lectures, presentations and workshop-sessions to take a closer look at the aesthetics and politics of IN:FORMATION: What is the influence of data representation, info design and the formation of information and communication channels on our perception and our knowledge of the world?

Artists, video- and filmmakers, designers, programmers and (h)activists, researchers in media and network cultures, and others interested in interdisciplinary exchange are invited to join the conference and to discuss their ideas and projects. Moreover, the interfiction DIY-Lab will offer opportunities to test, to share and to develop how-tos and know-how in practice as well.
