TBC RadioGeneral Information Radio on Time: TIME BENDING CLOCK Radio (TBC Radio) is a series of radio shows produced and broadcasted as part of the TIME BENDING CLOCK project, and thus like the TIME BENDING CLOCK itself devoted to the transdisciplinary research in the fields of art, media, cultural history and the history of sciences on theories and practices of alternate methods and techniques of clocking time. TBC Radio encompasses a variety of formats – from essay/interview broadcasts to art radio as well as shows in German and English language. Like the TIME BENDING CLOCK project itself it is related to the [Time Inventors' Kabinet] (TIK, see ibid.), and also to [TIK Radio] (see ibid.). TBC Radio is produced by the Frankfurt am Main based [TBC node] of [Time Inventor's Kabinet]. TBC Radio transmissions are irregularily broadcasted on ]]radio x[[, Frankfurt am Main (local fm, cable and live webstream) within the weekly slots of ]]radiator x[[ and the monthly slots of ]]GUNSTradio[[. Basic information related to the TBC radio shows can be retrieved from the GUNSTradio airchives: ]]TBC Radio @ GUNSTradio airchive[[ Moreover, we are planning to produce shows preferably exclusively with music and sounds published under creative commons (or related licences). As a result, also the shows themselves will be archived and published online (tba). Last but not least, selected radio productions are being released as radia shows for ]]radia art radio network[[ (and thus broadcasted by all 18+ international art radio stations and programmes that are members of ]]radia.fm[[). A first effort was/is the [TIK RADIO: BRATISLAVA SHORTCUTS] It was followed by [TIK RADIO: WITH THE WIND], based on two pieces produced (and in other versions also broadcasted) during the TIK Radio Art Radio week in Bratislava, September 2011. This show has been produced for radia.fm art radio network and broadcasted by all partner stations in December, 2011. Meanwhile, with [TBC RADIO: WINDTIME], a third show for radia.fm art radio network and broadcasted by all partner stations in Mai, 2012. Related entries: |
