städte in der nacht, nächte in städten.

die erste verbringen wir in skopje mit dimitar dodovski, der im inneren seines hauses der stille auf den strassen und den geräuschen der träumenden apparate nachlauscht.

die zweite in prag, wo uns ein geheimnisvolles wesen namens lemorona dazu einlädt, gemeinsam mt ihm in den tonträger-archiven eines mondsüchtigen zu stöbern.

cities in the night, nights in a city.

we spend the first one in skopje with dimitar dodovski who listened to the silent streets, to sleeping machines and dreaming apparatuses in his house:

"this piece of radia composition is made of lofi noises, crackles and subtle dubscapes which from the artist's view depict the nocturnal state of the city. inside the house where hums and noises from electronic appliances are generated and outside where distant sounds occupy space, reverbed voices from insomniacs, lovers and lonesome whistlers fill in the silence."

for the second one, we switch to prague, where a strange creature called lemorona invites us to join it browsing the sounding archives of a lunatic:

"from the Archives of a Lunatic (radio lemurie files): short sample from the workshop files and sound archives managed by the art project Lemurie TAZ operating in Prague. melange of sound files was chosen by an imaginary mascot a night creature named Lemorona who browsed through the dusty boxes full of tapes, records and cassettes…"
