Terminology

Terminology is a problem. You may think of it as something stable, something to relate to and build upon.
However, it is not.

The meaning of terms (and thus also the way they are used and contextualized) can not be generalized. Not only it may change over time. Meanings of terms change in close relation to their specific context. This may even be the case within a single field of use, or within one database.

From this follows: Any system relying in a substantial way on terminology (i.e. databases, archives and all retrievable storages of data using keywords as criteria for sorting, classification and retrieving data) is highly instable due to this general problem of terminology.
