Presentness

Question:
If presentness is a crucial quality for live performance – for the performer(s) as well as for everybody else involved in and/or attending the performance: How can we even think of documenting and archiving it in an appropriate way?

Note: We might consider this as a problem. But we might also consider it as a potential. Just as any moment in life is singular, and there is no way to keep it in all its dimensions, there are also artistic and cultural processes and productions demanding presence, and presentness. Here and now.
