Mobile Text Cultures

Symposium & Workshop

Mobility, whether voluntary or forced, shapes our everyday lives in the 21st century. As a result, more and more texts are created on the move using laptops, the iPad, and mobile phones. What potential does this development yield for authors?
Bloggers, journalists, and scientists from Germany, Australia, the UK, Japan, the Netherlands and South Africa debate this question.
The program of the symposium reaches beyond discussions with an artistic as well as an exploratory module: a lecture concert on the opening night and a workshop
for young people.

"Mobile Text Cultures" is a project in cooperation with Berliner Gazette e.V.
Hosted by ICI Berlin.
Funded by Bundeszentrale für Politische Bildung (bpb)
