zunächst ist es der brasilianische künstler f? ribeiro, der ihre tänze aufgezeichet hat, um daraus ein eigenes werk zu komponieren.
im anschluss fischen die beiden britischen künstler jem finer und ansuman biswas radiowellen vom jupiter aus dem himmel.

another show with two pieces in our series with artistic research on electromagnetic fields.

we start with f? ribeiro from brazil who recorded their dances to create a radiophonic work following their songlines.

"'Radiodance Opus.01 'Y Do B?'' starts from the voice, the presence of the verb and the dance of electromagnetic fields to compose a body program of synaesthetic flexing of the body limits, it's listenings and gestures. In the metaphysical inversion of the body (udob), the representation of the clash of embodiment springs a question: why do we keep insisting on engineering the 'being'? Why do we still believe in artistic performance when it has no longer the power to update the world? We ask the listener to watch his body with utmost attention during the broadcast and dance." afterwards british artists jem finer und ansuman biswas are fishing the sky for radiowaves from jupiter:

"In early October 2007, artists Jem Finer and Ansuman Biswas visited Dartington College of Arts as part of the Arts and Ecology MA. In collabortation with Soundart Radio a home made radio telescope was constructed with a receiving device tuned to 20.1 mhz, allowing us to pick up radiation from storms on Jupiter. These recordings were all made between 6 and 9 pm on 4th October 2007 as we stood out under the stars waiting and listening…"
