two tides.

with the first one we're drowned in a composition of frédéric altstadt:

"'Into lovers strings, / crumbled under soft shakes from the strech of the oblivion, / tainted simple encounters, bellow the lights of married chords // it's a sincere road i followed, / time for a pause, / strewn of dark blue sound wires, / remanences of an unbordered amaricana' (Christophe Guiraud) – Traces of a hot & wet summers strings improvisations […] Water was everywhere there, around me and into the sound I was working on, I was amazingly obsessed by the 'aqua alta' submerging the streets. These random rises inspired me. The liquid element's travel from meting snow recorded in the Alps in late march to Antwerpen industrialised rivers sides, followed our strings. Flood is to come" [F.A.]

the second one brings two pieces by aymeric de tapol:

"AIR / WATER / FIRE (2006/2008) and MECHANICAL WATER (2008): The first piece is a mix of different field recordings made with different microphones in different places between 2006 and 2008, like on the top of the church of Strasbourg, inside the corner of a house on the Atlantic french west coast, in the Vosges mountains(France), under the ceiling in Toulouse, in a book shop in Dashanzi (beinjing,china), and outside in Germany. The second Piece is a field recording in front of the BROOKLYNN MUSEUM in New York city." [AdT]
