in the first part of the show, we'll (re)heat a schnitzel:

REHEAT is a yearly festival for experimental art, sound, science and performance taking place at the kleylehof, nickelsdorf in austria.

"This years REHEAT festival's theme was 'electromagnetism' and therefore an ideal place to capture sounds for a radio show. The proceedings of the whole day included video installations, gps guided tours, lectures, many concerts and much more. The best way to represent this multitude was to send all recordings through the cut-up software called 'Schnitzel' written by one of the festivals co-organizers Dieb13.
It was a great festival, next year you should go there in person. Until then there is this show." [K.A.]

in the second part, we'll visit anna friz in her apartment in toronto:

"Our Domestic Radiation (2009): A composition made from the imagined and actual intercepted fields of electro-magnetic and acoustic signals in and around my apartment in Toronto, Canada. This piece seeks to express some of the wireless action surging daily on site. I am particularly interested in the relative flatness and depth perceivable in both acoustic and Hertzian space, and in the diminishing horizon in the city as a result of urban design and an exponential increase in wireless infrastructure (or electro-magnetic clutter). Additional filters include mason jars, theremin, ring modulator, staged interference, and delay. […]" [A.F.]
