liebes tagebuch!

heute sendet dir radiator x zunächst auszüge aus dem tagebuch, das diane weller während eines workshops bei dem britischen klangkünstler und dokumentarfilmer chris watson geführt und anschliessend in radiokunst transformiert hat.
anschliessend laden wir dann noch zu einer kunstgeburtstagsfeier ein, die ebenfalls auf einem klangtagebuch basiert.

dear diary!

today radiator x has a nice special show created just for you: first we listen to excerpts from diane weller's diary – written during a workshop with british sound artist and film maker chris watson. and transformed into radio art…

"[…] I had no idea of what to do with the material I was collecting at the beginning of the week then finally by the end of the journey thought the best way to capture this was to formulate it into this audio diary I had made of my own experiences. These sound scapes that fill the diary are a collection of the collaborative work of the group and Chris' personal samples.
Now I feel I have a good headstart to venture into the world of sound." [D.W.]

"In 2006, Caroline Hofer und Barbara Kaiser spent some days in prague, at the art's birthday festival. C.H. wrote every day a web based diary, translated into english by Katie Elston. Those entries build now the heart and the frame of the piece. Furthermore, live recordings are an essential part of the production. Music comes from: Michael Northam, Zum Beispiel, Jaroslav Koran, Skupia C, Ernst Reitermaier, Barbara Kaiser." [L.R.-D.]
