zwei ausflüge in zeiten, in denen das (vor-)gestern noch zukunft war. oder doch wenigstens gegenwart.

zunächst ausgehend von nikola tesla und seinen erfindungen. die zwar inzwischen mehr als hundert jahre zurückliegen. teils aber noch immer futuristisch erscheinen.
dann wieder zurück in eine jüngere vergangenheit. musik aus einem vergessenen, verschwundenen archiv.

two journeys to'n'through times. when yesterday used to be tomorrow. or present at least.

first we start with nikola tesla and his inventions. going back more than hundred years to find a future still unknown:

"Developed in documentary format and a small piece of radiotheatre, we launched into the air several questions regarding the development of technologies that Tesla launched almost 100 years ago, and his relationship with Edison. We also let the air in the ratio of large companies and the energy business in front of the universal spirit of Nikola Tesla and his claim, denied by many, to create free energy and free for everyone.
The music that accompanies this production is original and written especially for this program by Daniel Canelo." [E.C.]

and then, falling back again into a younger past. music from an archive lost. and disappeared.

"[…] Electricity and amplified sound of the human voice transformed deeply the social, psychological and political context of the human discourse. Certain traces of totalitarianism are imbedded in almost every bit of broadcasted and transformed voice. The collage combines different samples of voices, speaking via telephone, found on the internet with ambient sounds, recorded in Prague, Wroclaw, Muenster and Kassel." [M.V.]
