Wer wollte in diesen Tagen nicht seine Zeit im Grünen verbringen? Im ausgehenden Anthropozän kann das allerdings auch schwierig werden…

Ein Problem, das in der brütenden Hitze des Sommers durchaus direkt sichtbar und fühlbar wird: Wo, bitteschön, geht es überhaupt noch ins Grüne – wenn die Wiesen längst ausgetrocknet sind und sich als gilbende Steppen vor den Augen breiten. Wenn alles, was noch Blätter hat, diese hängen lässt – oder auch zu Boden fallen, ganz so, als sei es schon Herbst. Wenn viele, viel zu viele Bäume verdorren. Wieviel Zeit haben wir also noch im und mit dem Grünen?

Sommerzeit | Summer Time ist eine Folge von TIME BENDING CLOCK RADIO, die in diesem Fall zugleich zum RadioRhizomE gehört.

Who would not like to spend her*his summer time outside in the green? However, in the late anthropocene this can turn out to be quite difficult…

In the heat of the summer, you can literally feel and also see it: Where is "outside in the green" if there is no green at all? Lawns and meadows are rather yellow, dry steppe-like zones. Leafs hang and or fall down like in autumn. Trees dying everywhere due to the endless summer. How much time is left for the green?
