erforscht zunächst anhand von achtundzwanzig fragen, die rund um das intime und das gemeinsame kreisen. die beide auf dem prüfstand stehen. entsteht ein gespräch? oder reden wir aneinander vorbei?

im anschluss baut bernd bohn ein babel aus klängen. das auf seine weise von missverstehen und verständigung erzählt.

starting with a research presented by doctor abgall from radio panik:

"Why so many questions? With their project called 'les inaccoutumées', the la ruche collective questions what is intimate and what is shared. 28 questions, translated into five languages, taken from an ongoing series started by fabrice renais. catherine d’ho gives her own solo reading of it. in the background, field recordings of an unrecognizable brussel, and some brief encounters. dreamlike."

afterwards, bernd bohn from halle builds a new babel from sounds found at home and in chicago:

"The intention was to switch into the subject of CITY – refering to the small east German City Halle and the metropolis Chicago – we decided to choose Babylon as the tertium communis. 'In Babel' can also be used according to the Great Oxford – 'babel' means a: a babel of voices, a noisy medley, mostly in today's lingua franca which is English, b: confusion, a scene of confusion, c: as 'Tower of Babel", a gigantic project, and finally d: the biblical confusion of languages.
So this musical-linguistic Babel-project is also a prophet and medium of ancient voices from the lowest levels of the tower of Babel." [B.B.]
