von der geburt bis zum tod versuchen menschen, möglichst wenig zeit in hospitälern zu verbringen – jedenfalls, sofern sie nicht dort arbeiten oder jemanden besuchen wollen. und doch beginnen und enden viele leben dort…

so beginnt auch die radiokunststunde im hospital mit der geburt eines kindes. und widmet sich im zweiten teil jenen, die zum sterben ins krankenhaus gekommen sind.

from birth to death most people will rather avoid hospitals – except for they are working there or come for a visit. yet the hospital is a place where many lifes begin – and end. so does this radio hour.

starting with a birth, with electic blue by slavek kwi, with:

the second one, composed by tom wallace, deals with death, with

"clinical reports of people (mainly young drug abusers) who die whilst in hospital. The reading of their unfortunate medical histories is underscored with an electronic music composition made from hospital noises. The piece has been played once on Resonance fm, but was hidden in a larger programme due to the sensitiity of the theme." [T.W.]
