EcoTimeZonesConcept and Considerations For several reasons there is for the time being no given definition for EcoTimeZones. The most important reason is that research on EcoTimeZones is an ongoing work in progress, and in the context of [Time Inventors' Kabinet] it is also an issue of collaborative research. Thus, it is probably more productive at this point to only provide some drafts rather than a a fixed framework of concepts. However, there are some basic aspect that can be sketched down already for now: EcoTimeZones are Alternate Time Zones (see ibid.), however at the same time they are located in time zones defined in relation to UTC (see the entries on [Time Zones] and on Universal Time). Discovery, experience and use of EcoTimeZones can be an individual and/or a collective process. EcoTimeZones can be found within or overlapping with [Open Greens] (see ibid.), but do not have to be related to green(s) at all. In a similar sense, they can be related to and/or overlap with Connected Open Greens (COGs, see ibid.) that are connected sites of research within the [Time Inventors' Kabinet] (TIK, see ibid.). Moreover, EcoTimeZones are closely related to the concept of Ecotimes, another issue of research within the [Time Inventors' Kabinet]. EcoTimeZones are also closely related to concepts of Time Bending, and they can – temporarily or permanently – become sites of installments for [TIME BENDING CLOCK mechanisms]. Moreover, there are strong indicators that EcoTimeZones are possible sites for treatments of different forms of [Time Sicknesses] (see ibid.) Some examples for classes of EcoTimeZones found so far*: Abandoned houses and sheds * Pls. note: a more detailed description and also case studies will follow. The classes are not to be generalized – i.e. as already mentioned before, some [Open Greens] are EcoTimeZones and some EcoTimeZones are [Open Greens], but neither all [Open Greens] are EcoTimeZones nor are all EcoTimeZones [Open Greens].
