Definition and Reference
The greek word "horologion" (Latin: horoliogium) means "timepiece" or clock – literally translated: a device that knows – and and lets you know – the hours.
"The" Horologion, however, is a building in Athens, Greece, also known as Aerides (se ibid.) or "Tower of the Winds".
