unsere heutige mission: weltklangraumreisen. auf radiowellen. in andere galaxien, zu fernen planeten?

nun: manchmal ist auch bei diesen reisen das ziel ganz nah. wie bei unserem ersten trip, für den uns jonny farrow, anna friz, steve germana, jeff kolar, peter speer und sarah knudtson auf einen verbotenen planeten entführen, der eigentlich direkt in der nachbarschaft liegt.

im anschluss erhalten wir durch das OS orchestra lissabon bfiefe eines forschers, die von entdeckungen auf einem fernen planeten berichten. vertont von einem raum gewordenen musikinstrument.

our mission today: space travel. and sound travel. with two radiant voyages on radio waves. to planets near and far…

the first mission carries us to a planet perhaps not so far as it seems to be:

"NRRF is a collaborative effort to make unlicensed neighborhood radio art. For the B Radio iteration, the core group of noisemakers consists of Jonny Farrow, Anna Friz, Steve Germana, Jeff Kolar, Peter Speer, with Sarah Knudtson (documentation and props wrangling).

B Radio is a series of long-form radio shows mashing b-list genres with radio art. Each B Radio episode features a theme to structure the improvisational nature of the shows, though tangents are frequent and encouraged. It’s live radio, streamed, with special guests and live audience.

the second interplanetary trip is guided by lisbon's OS orchestra:

"A series of letters that come from a far away place and time. The narrator describes his research voyage on a planet with strange geological formations: The Cones. Alone, he writes this letters to W and keeps us aware of his mental deflections induced by the odd landscape." [P.R.]
